SHRI MANABENDRA DEBBARMA

Born on 15th January 1975 at village – Rangmala, Sub-division – Bishalgarh, then West Tripura District now Sepahijala District. Got LL.B. (5 years) from Calcutta University, Hazra Campus in the year 2004. Then practiced in the Criminal side as well as Civil side in the District Courts. Joined in the Tripura Judicial Service in the year 2007 as the Grade III. On completion of 1 year training at NEJOTI, Guwahati got posting as the J.M. 2nd Class at Dharmanagar, North Tripura in the month of August, 2008. Then in the year 2012, transferred to the Court of the SDJM, Kamalpur, Dhalai District. Got promoted to the Grade-II in the month of June, 2014 and joined as the Principal Counsellor, Family Court, Kailashahar, Unakoti District. In the year 2016, transferred to the Court of Civil Judge (Sr. Divn.) -cum- Astt. Sessions Judge, (Court No.2), Agartala, West Tripura and also performed in the Court of Civil Judge (Sr. Divn.) -cum- Astt. Sessions Judge, (Court No.1) till transferred to Ambassa in the year 2018 as the C.J.M., Dhalai, Ambassa. He got promoted in the Grade I of the Service in the year 2019 and joined as the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Dhalai, Ambassa. Then in the month of July 2020, transferred and posted as the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Gomati, Udaipur. Thereafter on 02.05.2024 he was transferred and posted as the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Khowai Judicial District, Khowai Tripura. He assumed the charge of District & Sessions Judge, Khowai Judicial District, Khowai Tripura on the afternoon of 09.04.2026.
